CARB series toroidal roller bearings
CARB toroidal roller bearings are a new kind of radial spherical roller bearings. This compact self-aligning roller bearing was developed by SKF and launched in 1995. The bearing has a unique design, which combines the self-aligning ability of spherical roller bearings and the unlimited axial displacement ability of cylindrical roller bearings. It also has a smaller cross-sectional area.
Advantages of CARB toroidal roller bearings
CARB bearings can allow axial displacement without causing additional axial force or friction. Therefore, the loads in the new bearing system are only external radial and axial forces. The bearing system has the following advantages: lower bearing load; improved bearing distribution; longer relubrication interval; downsizing is possible; the service life of bearings and lubricants is significantly extended
Application range of CARB toroidal roller bearings
Paper machine; continuous casting machine; stone crusher; grinding machine; industrial transmission; conveyor belt; textile machine.
